Yoga with Liam is more about building strength, grace and tolerance than connecting with your inner spirit animal. It’s about finding balance, mentally and physically, and feeling absolutely amazing after class. It’s (hopefully), yoga with a sense of humour. Something I’ve found lacking over the 3 years I’ve been practicing. You can find me somewhere in South America until the end of October. After that, your guess is as good as mine. Come along to class and get stretchy, strong, sweaty and happy.
Or if you need a little more persuading, here are some nice things people have said about yoga with Liam:
Liam’s lessons are a great introduction for rank beginners like me and has sparked my interest to take it up further when I move to my next location. His gentle cajoling for everyone to improve their posture is refreshing and he takes great care in creating the right atmosphere. I highly recommend him to anyone who seeks to take yoga or just wants to try something different in terms of exercise.

By chance I found Liam’s class and arrived to be the only one there, so I recieved a ‘special’ class, with lots of new and interesting positions. He taught asanas for about 2 hours, which was intense but enriching, even for me, who has been practicing for 3 years. I am sad to be moving on because I would love to take more classes with Liam.

Liam knows how to motivate students to achieve postures they could not achieve before. He identifies the needs and limits of students and adapts his class to fit them, rather than the other way around. I started with a free class at Yakumama hostal and enjoyed it so much that I took private classes 3 times a week. It was sad to see him go.

I really enjoyed Liam’s Yoga classes. As a beginner, he made me feel comfortable and relaxed whilst also catering for the more experienced members of the group. This is just what I’ve been looking for… so I hope he stays in Cuenca for a long time!!

Liam was very supportive and patient in the classes in Nicaragua, especially when it came to arm balances. He appeared to have a genuine interest in my practice, modifying when necessary and focussing on correct alignment in the postures.
